Savoury & Sweet Pork Marinade
Here's a quick recipe for a pork marinade.
It's mostly savoury but also with a hint of sweetness. Just whisk it all up
together so that it's well-mixed, pour it into a big ziplock bag and add the
pork. Then marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or as long as
overnight.

Marinade Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of any type of citrus juice (lemon, lime, orange, or pineapple)
- 2 tbsp of liquid honey (use firmly packed brown sugar if you don't have honey)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh garlic
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp dried crushed rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste.
Tip: reserve some of the marinade to reduce into a sauce. Boil it gently
over your stovetop until slightly thickened, then pour over the barbecued pork.
You might want to double the recipe if you like to have more sauce.
This is just one pork marinade out of many! Feel free to experiment with the
flavors. Pork goes really well with a touch of sweetness. If you're new to
